Ha Giang Prov., Dong Van distr., Pai Lung mun., 23?15′14″ N, 105?22′11″ E, 1340 m. Scattered in open evergreen coniferous submontane forests on ridges of limestone mountains. Trees up to 0.4 m dbh, 15-17 m tall.
