Ebenaceae ? Hoa Binh Prov., Mai Chau Distr., Pa Co Municipality, Xa Linh village, around point 20?44′49″ N, 104?54′53″ E, 1112 m a.s.l.

In secondary closed evergreen forests, foot and slopes of closed evergreen broad-leaved submontane forests of limestone mountains. Scattered. Evergreen shrub or small tree, up to 5-7 m tall. Ripe fruits yellow, about 3.5 x 3 cm. Calyx 5 sepals.
