Litsea panamonja (Nees) Hook.f. Hoa Binh Prov., Lac Son Distr., Ngoc Son Municipality, Central village, around point 20?26′31″ N, 105?22′14″ E, 489 m a.s.l.

In open places and edges of heavily logged primary and secondary closed evergreen broad-leaved lowland forests on foot of limestone mountains. Very common. Small evergreen tree, up to 10-12 m tall. Flowers yellow.
