Common, but scattered in secondary dry dipterocarp woodland with the dominance of Dipterocarpus obtusifolius and/or D. intricatus or Melaleuca cajeputii on old alluvial soil inundated in rainy season. Perennial herb, up to 0.2-0.3 m tall; flowers yellowish.
