Scattered in rather high and less inundated sites of dry dipterocarp seasonal tropical lowland broad-leaved forest on old alluvial soil with the dominance of Dipterocarpus obtusifolius and D. intricatus. Parasite, stem very short, ca 2 cm tall, pedicels up to 15-20 cm tall; flowers pinkish.
