Broad-leaved evergreen forest with Pinus kwangtungensis and Podocarpus pilgeri on tops of ridge composed with rocky crystalline solid marble-like highly eroded limestone at elev. 1200-1350 m a.s.l.

Terrestrial achlorophyllous yellowish holoparasite. Flowers purple-violet. Occasional.
