Broad-leaved evergreen forest with Pinus kwangtungensis and Podocarpus pilgeri on tops of ridge composed with rocky crystalline solid marble-like highly eroded limestone at elev. 1200-1350 m a.s.l.
Palm up to 6(8) m tall on ridge edge and on steep slopes near ridge tops. Fruits yellowish-green. Very common.
