Remnants of broad-leaved evergreen closed primary and secondary forest on steep mountain slopes composed with sandstone and limestone at elev. about 1200 m a.s.l.
Terrestrial and lithophytic undershrub up to 1.2 m tall in wet shady place along stream. Flowers white to light green. Not common.
