Secondary open evergreen broad-leaved forest and secondary woodlands on very steep mountain slopes composed predominantly with weathered granite at elev. about 1600-1800 m a.s.l.

Creeping epiphytic and lithophytic vine on very steep shady wet slope. Not common.
