Mixed and broad-leaved evergreen primary closed wet mt forest with Shorea stellata & Dacrycarpus imbricatus along narrow ridge and on very steep sandstone/shale slopes. Small lithophytic shrub up to 1 m in wet crevices of open waterfall cliffs. Flowers reddish-purple. Common.
