S.Vietnam, Thua Thien Hue Prov., Xuan Loc Distr., Bach Ma National Park, steep S slopes along Dong Truoi ridge around point 16°14′11′'N 107°44′28′'E at elev. 600-800 m a.s.l.
Broad-leaved evergreen primary closed wet forest along steep rocky slopes and cliffs of shady stream canyon. Terrestrial and lithophytic herb up to 1.5 m tall in wet shady place among stream rocks. Flowers bright red-pink. Leaves uniform green, stem and petioles pink-brown. Very common.
