Broad-leaved evergreen primary closed forest on very steep granite slope at elev. 800-900 m a.s.l. Lithophytic and terrestrial herb up to 1.2 m tall in open rocky place. Tepals white with pink tint, median tepal deep red with yellow stripes. Common.
