S.Vietnam, Binh Thuan Prov., Tuy Phong Distr., Vinh Tan Municipality,
about 5 km to the S of Ca Na town.

Open secondary shrubs on dry rocky slopes of low hills composed with
granite along sea cost at elevation about 100 m a.s.l. Palm like plant
with stem up to 1 m tall and very broad base up to 1 m in diam.
Occasionally very common.
