In closed primary evergreen submontane forest on steep
granite slopes. Perennial herb, c. 0.25-0.3 m tall. Flowers violet.. Collectors: N.V. Trai, Q.D. Trong, N.Q. Hung, N.T.K. Thanh and T.N. Tuan.
