on trail from Nui Chua slope down to Da Hang vill., around point 11042′40′'N
109009′32′'E, at elev. 300-600 m a.s.l.

In secondary deciduous lowland woodlands and scrubs on granite slopes.
Deciduous shrub, c. 2-4 m tall, dbh 0.1 m, much branched. Flowers blooming
before leaves.

Collectors: N.V. Trai, Q.D. Trong, N.Q. Hung, N.T.K. Thanh and T.N. Tuan.
