Vietnam, Binh Phuoc Prov., Phuoc Long Distr., Bu Gia Map Municipality, along Dak Bo stream, around point 12°16′17″N 107°11′30″E at elev. about 300-350 m a.s.l.

Primary and secondary closed evergreen and semi deciduous broad-leaved lowland dry forest and open woodlands on hill slopes on basalt and shale mother rocks.

Evergreen and semi deciduous tree 15-20 m tall and 0.5 m in diam. Fruits green with dirty purple tint. Very common.
