Vietnam, Binh Phuoc Prov., Phuoc Long Distr., Bu Gia Map Municipality, steep hill slopes along Dak Huit river valley, about 30 km to the S of point 12°16′11″ N 107°09′25″E at elev. 350-400 m a.s.l.

Primary closed evergreen and semi deciduous broad-leaved lowland dry forest and open woodlands on basalt and shale mother rocks.

Ephemeroid tuberiferous herb in open woodland on terrace of rocky river valley. Flowers white, lip with purple base and central longitudinal yellow keel. Not common.
