Vietnam, Lam Dong Prov., Lac Duong Distr., Da Chais Municipality, around point 12°05′27′N 108°39′43″E, at elevation 2100-2300 m a.s.l. along main ridge of Bi Doup mt.

Primary mossy wet coniferous forest with Fokienia hodginsii along main ridge.

Lithophyte on mossy wet cliffs on the top of mountain. Flowers blue, center of median tepal yellow. Locally common.
