Vietnam, Lam Dong Prov., Lac Duong Distr., Da Chais Municipality, around point 12°05′27′N 108°39′43″E, at elevation 2100-2300 m a.s.l. along main ridge of Bi Doup mt.

Primary mossy wet coniferous forest with Fokienia hodginsii along main ridge.

Terrestrial and lithophytic herb on mossy cliffs. Flowers purple-violet, anthers yellow. Common.
