Vietnam, Lam Dong Prov., Lac Duong Distr., Da Chais Municipality, around point 12°08′31′N 108°39′01″E, at elevation about 1400 m a.s.l.

Open primary grassy spring swamp with Osmunda cinnamomea in stream valley at lower part of hills with open coniferous woodland with Pinis kesya.

Aquatic plant in open water pools and spring streamlets. Flowers blue. Common.
