Vietnam, Lam Dong Prov., Lac Duong Distr., Lat municipality, Suoi Vang locality around point 11°59′12″N, 108°22′12″E at elevation about 1450 m.

Open grassy/sedge spring swamp at the base on hills along small stream in secondary open grasslands and coniferous woodlands at elevation about 1400 m a.s.l.

Small terrestrial, sub-aquatic and aquatic herb in open wet places. Flowers blue-violet. Not rare.
