Vietnam, Dak Lak Prov., Krong Bong Distr., Hoa Son Municipality, E slopes of Chu Yang Sin mt system at elevation 600-850 m a.s.l. around point 12°30′27″N 108°22′50″E.

Secondary broad-leaved evergreen forest with bamboo on steep rocky mountain slopes.

Treelet 4-5 m tall. Fruits dirty olive-purple, edible. Not common.
