Vietnam, Dak Nong Prov., Dak Glong Distr., Dak Plao Municipality, steep mountain slopes of Ta Dung mountain system at elevation 600-800 m a.s.l. around point 11°52′14″N 107°59′34″E.

Secondary dense broad-leaved evergreen wet forest with bamboo on steep rocky W faced stream slopes composed with crystalline highly metamorphosed sandstone.

Lithophytic herb with pendent shoots up to 0.5 m long on shady mossy cliffs. Occasional.
