Vietnam, Dak Nong Prov., Dak Glong Distr., Dak Som Municipality, around point 11°53′06″N 107°55′15″E at elevation about 800 m a.s.l. in vicinities of Dak Som village.

Dense secondary broad-leaved evergreen forest with bamboo along deep narrow rocky stream canyon.

Palm 1.5-2.5 m tall on steep shady slope. Fruits green, inflorescence rachis red. Occasional.
