Vietnam, Quang Tri Prov., Da Krong Distr., Huc Nghi Municipality, La To Vill., along La Sam stream, around point 16°29′00″ N, 107°00′40″ E, 432 m a.s.l., shaly mt.

Tree, ca 10-15 m tall. Terrestrial, on slopes of secondary closed evergreen broad-leaved mixte with bamboo forest; rare.
