Dipterocarpus tuberculatus

Vietnam, Dac Lac Prov., Buon Don Distr., Krong Na municipality, Yok Don NP, around FPD station No 2, 12°52′17”N 107°48′08”E.

Dry open dipterocarp forest with short bamboo on ferralite thin weathered soils at elevation about 200 m a.s.l.

Tree up to 20 m tall and 0.7 m in diameter. Flowers purple, tepals with white margin, fruits green, fruit wings pink to red. Very common, regular co-dominant of the forest.
