Dry open shrubs and remnants of dry open broadleaved forest on very steep slopes and cliffs of high remnant hill composed with solid marble-like highly eroded rocky limestone at elevation 400-600 m a.s.l.
Lithophytic palm-like treelet to 6 m tall on very steep rocky shady slope. Locally common.
