Dry broad-leaved secondary evergreen forest on very steep rocky slopes and on vertical cliffs of remnant highly eroded rocky limestone mountains composed by solid crystalline limestone at elevation 350-450 m.
Lithophytic treelet 3-5 m tall on open mossy rocks. Flowers pink-violet. Rare.
