N. Vietnam, Ha Giang prov., Meo Vac distr., Shung Cha municipality, vicinities of Lo Loi Phin village (N 23°11′ E 105°17′). Wet secondary mossy forest near the top of remnant karst limestone ridge at elev. 1250 m a.s.l. Forb up to 1 m hg on open wet mossy rocks. Flowers brightly yellow-orange, with red marks on the lip. Not common.
