N. Vietnam, Ha Giang prov., Meo Vac distr., vicinities of Meo Vac town (N 23°10′ E 105°24′), 48.2 km to 36° of Ha Giang city. Primary evergreen broadleaved wet closed forest on sandstones at elev. 1200-1400 m a.s.l. Terrestrial and lithophyte forb up to 0.3 m hg on shady steep slope. Leaves with wide irregular median whitish stripe. Common.
