Primary broadleaved evergreen dry closed forest on very steep slopes of remnant karst limestone ridge at elev. 500-600 m a.s.l. Terrestrial forb or shrublet up to 1.5 m hg. Flowers violet. Very common, codominanthe of shrublet forest stratum at 450-650 m.
