FLORA OF VIETNAM Orchidaceae Paphiopedilum malipoense S.C.Chen & Z.H.Tsi var. malipoense
N. Vietnam, Bac Can prov., Na Ri distr., Kim Hy municipality, vicinities of Lung Hin Con village (N 22°17′ E 106°03′), 27 km to 55° of Bac Can city. Remnants of primary mixed evergreen dry open forest with Pseudotsuga brevifolia and bamboo along tops of remnant karst limestone ridge at elev. about 800 m a.s.l. Terrestrial forb on steep slope of N exposition with bamboo near the top of ridge. Leaves above green-lightgreen tesselated, below dirty violet spotted. Very rare.
