S. Vietnam, Prov. Quangnam-Danang. Evegreen close primary forest on SE slope of Ngoc Linh mountain system at 1700 m alt.
Herb shrub up to 1.5 m high. Flowers yellowish white. Not rare and sometimes dominante on SE and S slopes of Ngoc Linh mountain system at 1400-1700 m alt. (rare on N, NW and W slopes).
