Illicium sp.

S. Vietnam, Prov. Quangnam-Danang. Evegreen primary forest on SE
slope of Ngoc Linh mountain system at 1900-2000 m alt.

Tree up to 8 m high. Flowers pink, ordinary with 13 carpelles. Not too
rare, leaves and wood with strong rather pleasant smell.
