Magnoliaceae Juss. Michelia sp. S. Vietnam, Prov. Kontum. Evergreen primary forest at 1800-1900 m alt. on NW slope of Ngoc Linh mountain system on elevation to Ngoc Gua peak. Tree up to 20-25 m high (?). Flowers white inside, above reddish pink. Flowers collected only. VH 1239 09.04.1995 International Botanical Expedition of the U.S.A.
