S. Vietnam, Prov. Kontum. Evergreen primary forest at 1800-1900 m
alt. on NW slope of Ngoc Linh mountain system on elevation to Ngoc Gua
peak.
Tree near 7 m high. Wood of this tree is very hard and is specially
used by local people for agricultural tools.
