S. Vietnam, Prov. Kon Tum, Distr. Dak Gley, about 15-18 km to NW of Dak Gley town, near Mang Khen (Dak Che) village. Primary evergreen mountain very wet forest in deep canyon along stream at 1000 m alt.
Tree about 1 m high with leaves about 1.5 m lg. Not rare. VH 1953 24.11.1995
