S. Vietnam, Prov. Lam Dong, distr. Lac Duong, municipalite Da Chay, 40 km to NE from Dalat city. Closed primary wet broadleaved cloud forest on SW macroslope of Hon Giao mt. ridge at 1700 m alt. (N 12° 11′, E 108° 43′). Palm up to 3 m hg. Very common. Codominante in 3 ferest stratum at 1600-2000 m alt on S, W and E macroslope of the ridge.
