S. Vietnam, Prov. Lam Dong, distr. Lac Duong, municipalite Da Chay, 40 km to NE from Dalat city. Closed primary wet broadleaved cloud forest on SW macroslope of Hon Giao mt. ridge at 1600-1700 m alt. (N 12° 11′, E 108° 43′). Shrub up to 2 mhg. Flowers light pink. Common. Often dominante on open wet stream slopes at 1650-1750 m alt on W, S and E macroslope of ridge.
