S. Vietnam, Prov. Khanh Hoa, distr. Khanh Son, 41 km to NE from Dalat city. Closed primary wet broadleaved cloud forest on E macroslope of Hon Giao mt. ridge at 1500-1600 m alt. (N 12° 11′, E 108° 43′). Terrestrial herb up to 1-1.2 m hg. Flowers white-pink, central petal with red. Not rare. VH 4173 22.04.1997 International Botanical Expedition of the U.S.A.
