S. Vietnam, Prov. Lam Dong, distr. Lac Duong, municipalite Da Chay, 40 km to NE from Dalat city. Closed primary very wet broadleaved forest along stream canyon on SW macroslope of Hon Giao mt. ridge at 1600-1700 m alt. (N 12° 11′, E 108° 43′). Terrestrial and epilitic herb up to 0.5 m hg in wet shadow slopes along deep rocky stream canyon. Very common. Usual codominante in forb forest stratum at 1600-1700 m alt. on SW ridge macroslope.
