Closed primary very wet broadleaved forest along stream canyon on SW macroslope of Hon Giao mt. ridge at 1600-1700 m alt. (N 12° 11′, E 108° 43′). Tree up to 15 m hg. Common. Sometimes codominante of 1 forest stratum at 1600-2050 m alt. on SW macroslope and along tops of the ridge. VH 4394 26.04.1997 International Botanical Expedition of the U.S.A.
