S. Vietnam, Prov. Lam Dong, distr. Lac Duong, municipalite Da Chay, 40 km to NE from Dalat city. Closed primary evergreen broadleaved wet mt forest on SW macroslope of Hon Giao mt. ridge at 1500-1650 m alt. (N 12° 11′, E 108° 43′). Tree up to 15 m hg. Common. Sometimes codominante of 2 forest stratum at 1500-1600 m alt. everywhere in the area. VH 4417 26.04.1997
