S. Vietnam, Prov. Lam Dong, distr. Lac Duong, municipalite Da Chay, 31 km to NE from Dalat city (N 12° 08′, E 108° 39′). Closed primary broadleaved mt forest on NNW macroslope of Bi Dup mt system at 1700-1800 m alt. Tree 15-20 m hg. Flowers white, pleasant smelled. Very common. Usual codominante in 1 forest stratum at 1700-1900 m alt. on NE macroslope of Bi Dup mt system. VH 4435 30.04.1997 International Botanical Expedition of the U.S.A.
