S. Vietnam, Prov. Lam Dong, distr. Lac Duong, municipalite Da Chay, 29 km to NE from Dalat city. Primary mixed cloud forest with Fokienia hodginsii on peaks of Bi Dup ridge at 2150 m alt. in 1.5 km to N from main peak of mt system (N 12° 06′, E 108° 39′). Epilite on shadow mossy vertical granite bluffs. Flowers blue. Leaves often with whitish tesselation. Very common. VH 4497 01.05.1997 International Botanical Expedition of the U.S.A.
