S. Vietnam, Prov. Lam Dong, distr. Lac Duong, municipalite Da Chay, 40 km to NE from Dalat city. Closed secondary evergreen broadleaved forest rich in primary elements along river on SW macroslope of Nui Hon Giao ridge at 1500-1550 m alt. (N 12° 11′, E 108° 43′). Tree up to 20 m hg. Not rare. Usual codominante of 1 forest stratum at 1500-1600 m alt. VH 4565 05.05.1997 International Botanical Expedition of the U.S.A. National Geographic Society (grant No 5803-96)
