FLORA OF VIETNAM Melastomataceae Phyllogathis subrotunda
S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Kon Plong Distr., Hieu Municipality, Mang La forest enterprise (14°39′N, 108°25′E). Primary evergreen broad-leaved wet forest on steep mt. slopes on sandstone & gneiss at elev. 1000-1200 m. Terrestrial & lithophyte herb on steep wet slope of forest stream. Not rare. Leaves below deep emerald-green, above with pink-violet tint.
