S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Kon Plong Distr., Hieu Municipality, Mang La forest enterprise (14°39′N, 108°25′E). Primary wet mossy mountain coniferous forest on sandstone (with Pinus dalatensis, Fokienia hodginsii, Dacrydium elatum, Dacrycarpus imbricatus) along ridge tops at elev. 1200 m. Terrestrial and epilitic herb on mossy wet shady places. Leaves light green with brown-purple numerous marks. Not common.
