S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Kon Plong Distr., Hieu Municipality, Mang La forest enterprise (14°39′N, 108°25′E). Primary broad-leaved wet evergreen forest on sandstone at elev. 1100-1200 m. Shrub about 1.5 m hg in open place along forest stream. Flowers white, with pink-violet tip of central tepal. Not common.
