S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Kon Plong Distr., Hieu Municipality, Mang La forest enterprise (14°39′N, 108°25′E). Degraded primary and secondary wet evergreen broad-leaved forest (with Dacrydium and Dacrycarpus) along mountain river valley at elev. about 1100-1150 m on sandstone. Shrublet 1-1.5 m hg in shady place on stream slope. Not common. Fruits brightly red.
